    hi i may come accross as a bit thik but where abouts is the mass air flow sensor for my 98 1.8t as i need to check it as my car idles poorly any tips would be greatfully recieved

    Its inside the Airbox., if you remove the lid and look in it, the MAF is held in with 2 little screws

    are they cleanable or just get a new one???

    Either (try to) clean it or buy a genuine one. Cheap ones off fleabay or the like never work.
