Just wondering if anyone else has seen the Zurich Insurance advert on ITV lately? - It shows a woman learner driver setting off in a bright red 05 reg B6 Passat, but as she sets off she releases a normal handbrake.

Is this a "limited edition " or just a bit of "cut and paste" when making the advert? .

That's got to be creative marketing - I'll keep an eye out for it though

    Yes - spotted that one.

Did you notice they deleted the VW badges back and front?

It's interesting that a lot of companys are using PASSATS for thier advertising. Like you said Zurich, and I think Andrex had one too, and there was another one which used a black passat - not sure who that was of the top of my head.

Thats not the worst of it - it only have 5 gears and the performance was past bad... unless of course Europcar had a rev limiter fitted... i couldn;'t get it above 3000 without the engine spitting flames...

Domestos - Have you got the exact same car as me ??

And I've had 1.9tdi courtesy Passats - they just don't like revving above about 2500 - after that it's just noise.
