    Hi to everyone
    Just a quick question does any know how to solve a problem with my fuel gauge (audi cabriolet W reg) even when i fill up gauge only reads 3/4 full any assistance would be much appreciated

    could be sensor in tank
    or does the temp guage read low?
    if so then the printed circuit on the dash pod as a dry soldered joint

    Temp gauge is fine its just fuel gauge i would take panel off & clean but dont know how to release cable clusters any ideas

    2 philips screws going upwards in steering column shroulds
    lift upwards
    then 2 philips screws at base of dash pod
    it should then pull outwards and just clear the steering wheel
    then you have to seperate the panel but you can see how this is done
    check all the soldered joints and resolder any suspect ones
    usually the ones by the little black 3 prong voltage stabilizer
    and check the ones at the guages
