    Hi all,

I have an 02 A4 Quattro tdi 2.5 with sensors on both bumpers, had the car for 2.5 years and never had a problem, for the past 6 weeks when i engage the sensors (through the button or reverse gear) it senses for 3 seconds then goes into a constnt beep and flashing light until it is cancelled or i drive forward. It is definately not sensing as i have parked it in various positions at various proximities from objects. I checked to make sure they were clean and now i am out of ideas. Any one with some wise words on the matter?

have a look in the Vagcom forum for someone near you who will scan the car.
The beeping your getting is to tell you that a fault is present, with a scan
hopefully this will tell you which sensor is faulty.
