I had the classic rear wiper problem (spilling fluid inside) which required replacement, but not before it allowed fluid into the rear boot lid area. This may well have got to the microswitch in the lid lock.
Anyway, I keep blowing the fuse which controls the 'convenience pack' (10A) which controls interior lights, electric windows and central locking.
When the tailgate is up, having replaced the fuse, the unlocking mechanism works fine. As soon as the boot lid is down, it blows the fuse and the central locking doesn't work anymore. Plus I can't open the rear right door, except from the inside. Is it all linked? - I think the boot lid microswitch may have rotted with the washer fluid spill - is this the cause?
