    Hi All.
I have tried to find the answer elsewhere, but cannot locate it at the moment.

I have a Bora 1.9 tdi and always have the 19,000 varible service, howevre the service indicator comes on after 9,000 miles. Can i reset this myself or must i go to my local VW garage again and get it reset.

    Many thanks in advance

I think you can do it yourself. It's detailed in the owners manual I believe...

since you sorted it out by using the reset buttons on the dash, then the next service message will come on after 15,000km or 9375miles-ie the distance /time method service interval.

my car was on varible interval but i prefer the distance/tiime method as at least i know for sure when the service will be due and not computer springing up the message for a service when you least expect it.
