Hi. i'm new to this so please bear with me.
I have the problem of very wet footwells in my passat estate, 1996 vintage, the problem is on the drivers side,front and rear.
There is staining on the roof lining,but not wet to the touch.
I have done the drain holes under the battery, but this has not helped. checked the mountings of the roof rails,seem ok. so i reckon it could be to do with the sun roof, drainage ,it almost seems as if they are draining into the car, i have no idea how these work, done the poking wire down the dranage holes but not sure if i am doing damage, has anyone got any thoughts ?

Hi Roger check where the sunroof drains exit in the door shuts. This is usually where they block.
