    They work but not as well as a remap. plus you pay for what you get. Crasher does tuning boxes for about £400. These are good tuning boxes, I doubt the £150 one are very good, but i could be wrong.

    my remap cost me £235 about 12 months ago.
    deffo well worth the cash.
    i think the company i used was chip boost based just outside scarborough.

    I ain't going to loose any driveability am I by getting either tuning box or remap? So what's the differrence between a £400 tuning box and a £300 remap. So far from what I've read remap seems the way to go?

    for the best results, you want a remap at a place with a rolling road. that way you can have a custom remap to your car rather than a generic setting. you should be able to get this for less than 400 quid and you also get a pretty accurate BHP reading. its definately worth doing tho, the power gains especially in the diesels are amazing!!!

    Anyone know where there's a remap service with rolling road in Tyne and Wear area thats any good?

    Hi. I've heard that you get truble with blown heads/gaskets after chipping. They are only built to cope with whatever PS they are made for.
