    Hi,

I'm looking at fitting a towbar to my Avant 2.5tdi quattro can anyone confirm if you have to cut the bumper? Does anyone know of certain towbars that don't require this? I really don't want to cut the bumper unless I have to.

    Thanks Ross

bought my a4 second hand mate, complete with towbar from a friend. Think the towbar is Audi genuine and there is no evidence of the bumper being cut to fit it. Its also quite simply a bolt on, you can have it on or not so having a gaping hole in the bumper would defeat that purpose.

    Hope this helps.
