Is it worth getting an upgrade diesel dump valve? what advantages does it have over standard one? I have seen forge are making them. Are they any good?

I might have a look on ebay for one but defo wouldnt now buy one brand new, now i know that you gain nothing performance wise from them.
I just love the sound that they make.
I wonder how long though before got pee'd off with the noise, a bit like really loud exhaust, of which im not going to put on this car.

Not being funny but its a diesel, why bother wasting money on an exhaust & certainly a dump valve when the exhaust will just make the already noisy engine noiser & more than likely not actually hear the dump valve "tssshh" sound your after! Spend your money on a remap if your after somethat that will actually add benefit to the car.

i agree with the dump valve bit, really not worth it for a derv.

as for exhaust, i have purely for looks. spent a lot of time looking and choosing specifically to get just that.

ended up with a SEBRING s/s for £235 fitted. (Same company as Remus i was led to believe)

not a lot of difference in performance, sounds no louder than standard, just a tad deeper on full chat.
