    A random one here...

The rear seatbelt in the A4 is only just long enough to go around the rear facing carseat - once it's fully extended it then has to be fully retracted before you can re-extend it. Which is something that happens a LOT - no matter how hard we try to adjust our seat-fitting technique.

Given that the carseat's a tight fit, this is really frustrating as the OH got caught in a hailstorm today while trying to fit the carseat and extending and retracting the seatbelt several times.

Is there anything I can do to the rear seatbelt to stop it having to be fully retracted before extending it again?

Just got an A4 Avant for our new offspring.

On the near side rear when fitting the rear facing baby seat we occasionaly get the issue where the belt ratchets to a stop and we have to fully retract the belt before trying again. Intermittant. No idea why but I thought I would share your pain!

    I've found the same in both my '01 & '98 A4 Avants.
    Did you find any solution?
    4 Audi's or is it 4 Audi?
