Hi i have a factory fitted beta radio and wanted to know would it cope with an extra pair of speakers? seeing as it only has two and id like to add another pair!

It only has two channels and the sound is great but could do with some rear speakers. Thanks!

Hi, i did do that but the sound quality compared with the beta already fitted in the car was rather poor so i dont want to take a chance again.

Are there adapters around that enable you to connect rear speakers to the front ones? Trying at all costs to avoid taking it to someone but it looks as though i may have to.

That is something i didn't do! I will give that a try tomorrow. The loudness was the same but the treble wasn't anywhere near as good as my current one which is strange.

Well i tried the gamma again and still the sound was poor! I adjusted the fade settings to the front ones but it didnt make a difference.

Looking at the radio it does come from an car radio shop so it might have been played around with there. I will put it on ebay and sell it, should get some of my money back.

Will talk to halfords and ask them to wire the back speakers to the front ones, shouldnt be an issue i dont think.
