    how easy would it be to convert my rear wind up window's to electric and what would be involved . any help appreciated

    Hi,

    Sorry I don't know the technical ins & outs, but I suspect the easiest option (to save you the hassle of ordering all the right bits) would be to go to a scrap yard and buy the innards of two rear doors from A4 with electric rear windows.

    I have to say I was surprised to see manual winders on the B6 - I thought they were left in the dark ages with the B5

    This has been discussed here dozens of times. Basically you need to run all the wires and replace the door cards and the driver's interior door handle apart from the obvious lifter mechs, etc.

    IMO not worth it since it's alot of work and quite costly.

    ok mate thank's, but another option might be to just change the complete door's over from a scrapp'd audi ( preferably in the same colour ) lol

    apparently the rear window's were an optional extra !!!!

    id be interested in this too (sorry to jump in fella) but if the doors were just changed, which is what i was planning on doing i was told the wiring loom in the car needs to be changed as well, is this tru ?
