warning symbol on dash?

Folks - on drive into office this morning a warning symbol popped up on the dash - letters "MPH" in a circle with a superscript "1" on left hand side - call the audi garage? any ideas what this means? not got the handbook in the car...don't recall doing anything particularly exciting on the drive in that merits special mention as a possible cause...

got it - speed limit indicator. unsure why it pinged at 40 mph, but I then made the mistake of pressing the "check" button whilst driving, which resets the speed limit indicator at that current speed which explains why it kept pinging at me every time I drove past 40 mph on the drive in. AUDI told me to turn the engine off and it will reset itself.
there are two speed settings on the warning indicator... seems like a rather pointelss function frankly.

you got it... press check when your driving and thats the speed it sets to,..

I find the speed warnings invaluable I set one at 85mph and one at 110mph... saved me cruising on ito warp speed territory without noticing more than once.
