we have a passat 130 tdi sport 02 plate...
what model is it?..ie what does pd mean? b5 mean?...living and learning after owning a vectra for the last few yrs i had always wanted a passat tdi...
having now got one i want o know as much info as poss...hence why i joined this site...see what i can gather

pd means pressure duiced
yours will be a b5.5 i know mine is a b5 and the later shap to mine is a b5.5 but i dont have a clue what it stands for unless is ment to be like mk1 mk2 ect

Mine is an 02 2002 and its a B5.5 which as far as i know is a face lift of the B5 i know the rear lights are different and i also think the headlights are slimmer and a different grill, mine is chrome and most B5.5's ive seen have been chrome.
ps i dont even know what my BHP is lol i know its 20v

PD means Pumpe Deuse(a.k.a. unit injector !) B5 means the platform its built and all audi a4, a6 and vw passat are built on this medium size platform from 94 to 2001, B5.5(1999 onwards) means its the facelifted model and will have different rear lights and headlights + somme subtle improvements .

if its a standed 1.8t it will be 150bhp i think thats what mine is
