    Can anyone provide me with a list of things that would be carried out at a vw dealer on a full 40 K service for a 1.9 Tdi (130) Bora?

    If it's on Longlife servicing then probably

    Oil
    Fuel filter
    Fuel filter clips
    Brake Fluid change
    Sump Plug
    Sump Washer
    Labour

    Not much change out of £200-250 if it's done via Main Dealer.

    You would probably also get the pollen filter and air filter changed in addition to those items already listed above

    Most garages would also carry out a visual inspection of things like brake discs and pads, exhaust system, auxiliary and cam belts, transmission oil, drive train components, suspension and steering components and fluid levels.
