    Good day from a new Passat owner. I picked up July 07 1.9 Tdi SE last week & am very impressed. Under £12K from VW main dealer, 12,000 miles on the clock. The ride & build quality is very impressive. I had an 06 SAAB before, which was poor in comparison. If you think VW quality is not up to much, then look at the opposition!

    I have a minor query:-

    According to brochures the stereo should play MP3's. But mine dosn't. There is no MP3 logo above the slot. Would anybody know when the MP3 stereo was introduced as standard on SE model?

    Also I do have a minor glovebox rattle, which I can stop by wedging a bit of card in it. I have read the posts so have a few clues of how to attack this, thanks!

    The MP3 model will say "MP3" on it - the RCD300 (which is standard) doesn't...
