After having a quick check of the car while i had it in the air yesterday ( fitting oil temp and pressure sensors to a filter plate ) and noticed the exhaust is starting to show a bit of rust along the bottom. although most of it is surface im looking at getting prepared so its just a case of swapping over.

milltek have been recommended to me quite a lot and even on this site they seem to have a good rep for what im after the only problem is most on this site seem to have the diesel engines fitted.

im looking for a nice sporty sounding exhaust not to loud not much louder than the standard. i have heard that the resonated version is quieter than standard, is this true ? if so would i be better with a non res version ?

what im definitely not looking for is a sound that sounds like ive rattled a screwdriver through the back box in several places.

should have said its for a 1.8t AUQ head otherwise standard the now but looking at a revo remap.

    any advise welcome

    Cheers
    Paul

Milltek generally offer a good well built system. I wouldn't worry too much about noise because till you start taking the cat out they never seem to be too loud.

If you need a price feel free to PM me.

Milltek are superb quality, I had some microlight exhausts specially made there some years back, they are Rolls Royce quality in my opinion.
And they've been around for years so stood the test of time.
