    Hi all!
I own a 2002 VW Passat Estate TDI 100 5 speed. The car has done nearly 120,000 miles now on the original clutch, which is now starting to judder when I select a gear & slowly lift the pedal. I guess I am correct in thinking it maybe time for renewal? How much can I expect a bill for?

Hi and welcome to forum. You'll prob find this vehilce also has dual mass flywheel which is more likely to be the cause combined with the clutch. As for cost you're looking at approx. 4-5 hrs lab @ 60-90£hr + £250-£450 for parts at dealers+vat. Would recommend having g\box removed and then clutch and flywheel can be diagnosed correctly. The variation in lab price is gonna depend on where you are based. You could also find local indy with good rep to have a look.
