    Howdy people,

I have picked out a new stereo to use "Sony CDX-GT929U" and need to know the following.

    1. How or what do I use to remove the exsisting stereo (bose concert)
2.What other attachments will I require to make it compatable with Audi wiring
    3. Is there a guide anywhere how to remove the speakers from all the doors?

Hope you can help....TA very much.

u need the stereo removal pins which can be found on ebay for a few quid.. a frame adaptor that goes around your new headunit as the stock ones have a bigger face, a lead converter at the back of the headunit which converts the wires from audi to sony and I also have another set of wires in mine that are for sending power to the amp but you might not need them.. if you take it to halfords or any private sound shop they should do all this for you. if you have bose speakers i reccomend you leave them in, they are very good quality and stil work perfect with aftermarket headunits.. hope this helps..!

Keeping the bose speakers, Must admit they sound ten times better with this stereo compared to the Audi Stereo.
