    On what? Do you mean the inertia switch that cuts fuel in the event of an accident?

    It doesn’t have one; they were only fitted to 11/98 production onwards, to vehicles with an air bag.

    That explains why I can't fint it. Next question.

    Car cut out whilst driving@ 40mph. I tried to restart it fired and then nothing turned over fine just no broooommmm. RAC man scratched his head in the rain for a further 45 mins and dumped it back at my home. Went out to poke at it again today and the battery is completely dead. Nothing left on, and the batery is not low drained, recover a bit if you leave me alone for an hour it's as flt as if I'd disconnected it.
    Any ideas beyond charging the battery?

    Well you need to charge the battery or maybe even replace it. Then get a fault code read done, or did the RAC man give you a report? What engine is it, 2.0 ADY petrol?
