    Default A3 1.6 Sport 2000 Model Electrics – 29-03-2008,02:35 PM
    I have just lost the use of my electric windows, electric sunroof, remote locking. I took the car along to an "Audi specialist" and he told me that the convienience unit had gone down and that I was looking at about a £200 plus bill. Could anyone confirm this theory, and also is this the correct name for the component and any suggestions on where to source one other than at a main dealer? Many thanks

    I take it fuses and stuff like that have been checked?

    200 buff is a bit steep i think. It's got to be some minor component.

    Check fuse panel, open drivers side door and prise off side panel on dash (its bottom left corner 20Amp)
