    Hi guys

i have 1998 transporter 1.9 td van anyone know how to remove the power steering belt?

    the van has 2 belts.

one drives the alternator and in front of that the other belt which drives the power steering.

the power steering belt is very small only going round 2 pulleys, the crankshaft and the power steering pump. im guessing the pump has to be the adjuster for the belt.

how do i get the pump to move or the belt off?

urgent help is needed as i have to use the van today to get to work

    any help would be great

    thanks

All I did was remove the allen bolts out of the middle of the pulley.
It worked for me,was a bit of a fiddle getting it back on but I got there eventually.
