    Afternoon all

Been lurking for a while, used the site to help when purchasing. Got a mint Avant TDI Sport.

Have recently installed my old HID's from the Golf, prior to fitting and more noticably after fitting I am getting loads of condensation in the lights.

Have searched on the forum and on audi-sport, headlights have been in and out now 4 times, completely dried out each time and I have drilled the vent holes in the headlight casing to improve venting but still getting condensation every time it rains and after washing.

Took the main light covers off in situ yesterday whilst car was on the drive and within 4 hours both headlights nice and clear, p***ed it down last night and I've got 'steamy windows again'

Thinking of enlarging the holes already drilled from 1.5mm to possibly 3mm?

Anyone else got a solution that works.

    TIA for your advice.

Hi The question here matey, is it condensation or are they leaking???? normally condensation is something that builds up over a period of time, and is caused by the variation in temperature. In your case, there is water in the lights after rain and when you wash the car suggests that they are leaking, and if so is the case, you can drill a 20mm hole but its not going to solve your problem.
