VW Golf GT TDI 150bhp 2003 (Engine power dip?)

Hi all,

Please help me. I have a VW Golf GT TDI 150bhp Mk4 2003 and I have noticed that over the last week my power sounds like it dips for no more than about second every once in a while. I believe that this happens at which ever speed I am travelling at. The last time this happened I was driving at about 40mph.

Does anybody have a clue what this could be?

Hi, I have 130BHP Passat TDI and I have the same problem, VW changed the Maff sensor and it worked ok for a week, no error messages at all on computer, my car is going again next week to be checked for this fault will update you, I beleive this is a regular problem on the TDI.

The MAF sensore normally shows itself as not being able to achieve high RPMs under looad.
