    Default buying an audi – 21-03-2008,08:39 PM
    hi guys! im new to the ite but have been a member of my mg site for some time and found people to give some good advice.
    so.. im thinking of buying an a3 but have little knowledge on these cars! is there anything i should be looking out for? any things to be aware off?
    any advice would be great

    Are you looking at diesel or petrol? Roughly what year too.

    petrol around the 51 52 reg's! been looking through the auttrader online and a few havnt moved for a month or so so was thinking there may be a common fault with thenm at this age? could be anything really!

    Just make sure all the interior electrics work and ensure it doesn't have a lumpy tickover. The 1.6 are known for this, so maybe look at a 1.8 or something.
