Hi everybody just after some views on the factory fitted xenons. i have them on a 2001 bora tdi sport and am not impressed by them at all does anyone know if there is a way to check the lights are functioning correctly, do the bulbs need replacing every few years? mine do not seem to light up much of the road and i often have to check that they are turned on. but when you look at the car head on they do appear super bright

How has everyone else found their xenon lghts?
Thanks in advance for your comments.

You should try the standard headlights mate. If you think yours are bad......!

Even with uprated bulbs they're poor at best.

Ok i had a problem with my lights... tries brighter bulbs and it did nothing. I took it to an auto-electrician who said there was no problem with them. So i did a bit of DIY work, and simply manually raised the lights with the little screw thing at the top of the cluster. It worked wonders and with some Philips Vision Plus bulbs they're almost as good as any other car :P

Not sure if this can be done on the Xenons as easily, but it was a breeze on the Halogens.
