    I have a 2002 Audi A4 Concert with Bose

Want to install a Symphony 11

    Is it plug and play..?

Are the Double Din Adaptors for RNS-E available on ebay suitable for this ?

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Original-AUDI-...QQcmdZViewItem

If not which Double Din adaptor do i need ?

Yes the Symphony will plug & play, once you've done the double din conversion of course! The one on ebay is the right one, they're normally always on there as in demand! I just bought an audi original one a couple of weeks ago from vagparts that I no longer need as now going to sell the car! Was going to ebay it but your more than welcome to buy it, cost me £28+VAT+P&P from them so happy to sell on for £35 delivered to a forum member and just recoup what I paid!
'53 Smart Roadster Coupe - So much fun, so little cost to run!!

'03 Kawasaki ZX6R B1H - Currently off the road due to binning it on the M1!

'02 A4 3.0 Quattro Sport - Gone but missed daily!

Thanks for the offer but just found out that i will need to trim the aircon unit to fit as the angle narrows as it goes lower !

Will have to find out if this is feasable or if i will have to source a unit compatible with the Symphony

So hold fire until i get this sorted

Cutting the aircon unit is easy.
Measure 2mm in from each side at the top and 5mm in from each side at the bottom. Mark the lines and cut.
    I used a junior hachsaw.

if you check out the link, there is a guide in the "internal options" section that details the installation of the dvd based satnat (rns-e) system. this guide contains comprehensive instructions and pictures of how to convert from a single DIN to double DIN centre console.

    have fun
