    Default Low MPG so plz help – 11-03-2008,08:10 PM
    i have 1993 golf 2.0L 4cyl. 8V. E2 engine.
    i have a very low mpg 11mpg.i have changed the plugs and its wires and the coil and air filter and cleaned my TB and idle control unit.the car have only 80000Km on it which is about 50000mile
    no engine check light is on
    its just sometimes i feel it idle alittle rough.the Rpmis steady but i just feel it.
    plzzzzzz help on that.by the way im an iraqi guy who live in iraq.

    Have you tried fitting a new fuel filter? I have got the same problem so thats what im going to try first of all and see if it helps. If anyone has any more suggestions they would be appreciated!

    give your car a good old service, always helps. also... id check your tank for a leak lol
    now that its all sorted, who's getting the beers in?
