hi guys, yep another leaky golf! after a bit of rain last week i went to get into my car and noticed my driver side footwell had a puddle in it. on closer inspection, i think the leak is coming from here:

    due to this:

but i could be wrong. i lifted the rubber seal and noticed there's a plastic clip that sits in it which would clip onto the metal railing but its broken. does anyone know if these are easy to come by? would this be why my car's leaking from the spot i've marked in the pic? i'm gonna gaffa tape it for now as it's gonna be pouring for the next couple of days

    yay!! fixed sunroof leak

here's what i did: squeeze the bleed nipple a bit to get rid of some gunk that was stuck up there. fed a bike gear wire carefully down the drain and poked it around a little and removed it. poured a cup full of water into the drain - was still blocked, so i poked the gear wire up through the bleed nipple and moved it around, then all of a sudden a gush of water came out! poured yet another glass in the drain to make sure everything was working, flowed out of the nipple no problem. did the same to the other side

now just have to wait for a rainy day(forecast tonight says rain)and hope it holds up. will let you all know
