    Hi guys.

Some of you may know that I took aaaaggges to decide on whether to get a Golf GT TDi 130 or the 150.....Wel I have bought the 130 and Im chuffed to bits with it.

Now, what I need to know is just how noticeable a remap is?

For those of you that have had a remap for power gains, could you help me make my mind up whether i should get one, and advise me how noticable it is.

For those of you who reply, many thanks!

    Cheers

    Neil

You have the best engine for a remap, the power on yours will definatly be noticeable, you will feel the torque pull you like train.

All of the PD130's Ive been in, its made the car so much better on delivering the power. Im concidering a PD130 myself at the moment.

HTH, even though Im a 1.8T driver, Mapped.

Had my 130PD remapped at RS Tuning and well it's awesome it now is a genuine 179HP and boy oh boy can you tell the difference, it feels WAY more powerfull the torque is unbelievable now and also took away all the nasty flat spots making it smooth as silk.

Whatever you do though have it professionally remaped it makes ahuge difference I have had generic maps in the past they are no where near as good.

Look up RS Tuning on here they are one of the sponsors their service is superb and backed by a money back gaurantee, can't get better than that.

He has an offer on at the moment of £299 for forum members, not sure of the dates though, normal cost is £499 and it's great value.

The thing Paul does that's above other tuners is that he will show you on the dyno before and after figures and tune the power to your own requirements, I have had loads done in the past and this guy is superb he really knows how to get the best from your engine.

I feel happy for you because I know you will be delighted if you get it done, and I would like to hear your own views if you go ahead.

    Cheers
