    Hi All,

I have a 2003 highline 1.9tdi 130tdi over the weekend I the rear drivers side mud flap caught the kerb as I was reversing into a drive way, the mudflap subsequently fell off luckily I found in on the kerb. As I was inspecting the wheel arch I noticed a short plastic pipe behind the cowl. It actually fell off in my hand. Its actually quiet short. Does any one know what its purpose is ? and if it will be diffiucly to reattach? Im assuming it just to facilitate drainage. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Found the purpose for the pipe. It is actually the overflow pipe for the fuel flap. It routes the fuel overflow over the cowl and onto the ground behine the rear wheel. Thanks for looking anyaway.

if its on the side with the fuel cap - it's just an over-flow . there's a little hole in the bottom in the fuel bay.
