    Hi,

I have just bought a 1999 VW Passat saloon, and one thing I found is, the boot light does not turn on.

I have removed the lens assembly, and tried it on a 12V supply, and it lights up fine! I have also checked for the presence of 12V at the bulb when the lens assembly is plugged back into the connector, and that's okay. So I guess it's the switch or the earth connection.

My question is, where is the switch located? Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction!
