    Hi there,
    My x reg golf abs lights flashes and stays on vw changed the abs conrol unit for £1200 and i thought the problem would go but its back and i took it back to the dealer and they are going to run more tests.

    can anyone tell me if they might try to change something else and try to charge me more money ??????????

    Any thoughts on the matter appriciated

    get a friendly m8 with vagcom to have a nosy, your at the mercy of the main dealer otherwise. i learn the hard way with my fiat brava, i've bought diagnostic equipment ever since for each car i've had. vagcom is indespensable as far as diagnosing your car goes. i sense vw have done the usual and started with the most expensive repair first.
