    PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

The passenger front door on my A4 (2001, Newer shape) is well & truly stuck!

I have opened the car with the remote this morning, every door has unlocked except the pax front!!!

I have tried the button inside the car tons of times and repeatedly tried the key fob, i have disconnected & reconnected the battery and tried to lock / unlock manually with the key at the drivers door, all to NO AVAIL!

I think the central locking actuator in the pax front door is stuck, yesterday i noticed that when the car was supposedly locked the pax front door was in fact open!! This is when i disconnected the battery, upon reconnection it all worked again until this morning and now i cant get the door open!!!

    Any ideas anybody?????????

souds like the dead lock is sticking, new lock is required but change it now as they only get worse and you wont be able to open the door at all.

I cant open the door now!!!!

Does anyone have any idea of how to get it open without cutting a whole in my inner door panel?

    Cheers

hi,try banging the door outer skin around the lock area as you try to open the door but not too hard, somtimes works other than that ive had to cut the striker off with a hacksaw blade in pointy mole grips from the rear with the back door open but its tricky and can mark the paint!
