Thanks a million for that golfmk5gttdi

i have ordered the skirt and am picking it up tomorrow, costing me 70euro, not too bad.

just one question about your guide for the removal of the bumper, i still have to do everything you did in the installation of yout tow bar??

I can not just take the skirt off some how ??

it looks difficult taking off all the lights and everything.

in your opinion how long should it take me

And do i need to raise the car off the ground??

    Thank you

    its dead easy...

keep the car on the ground wheels on. remove rear clusters as per instructions, thus revealing the 4 hidden torx. remove torx from wheel arches and under bumper bottom edge, prise out reg lights and hey presto.

    Just finished fitting it there,
I think your estimation of the time was a bit off!!

Ended up taking me 2 Hours, probably because ive never done something like this before.

    Problems i encountered were,

Those Gromits are IMPOSSIGBLE to take off without breaking!

When i had the bumper off i spent about 30 min trying to unclip the two bits from each other, wouldnt come away easy

Then when i refitted the whole lot i realiswed i never put the clips back on the lower section i was replacing, the ones you screw into, so had to take that off and do that again.

Also i put the wrong lights into the wrong sides above the number pplate and i ended up getting a bulb error light on the sdashboard.

    Anyway all is done,

here are 2 pics of it if anyone is intrested

i must say thank you golfmk5gttdi

    i owe you a pint!

    Thanks
