Interior light

The interior light does not come on anymore when the drivers door opens. Everything else is fine. I was wondering if there could be something wrong with the switch? only trouble is, I cant see a switch! All my previous cars had a little button which you could push in and out when the door was open, to operate the interior light. Any thoughts? By the way luckily for me all carpets are dry, and drains free, phew

Checked the bulb??

Bulb is fine , works with all other doors and central locking, just drivers door!

I have exactly the same problem except it's with the front passenger door. I am wondering if it is connected with the fact that I have to multiple push the key fob to lock, i.e. intermittent/dry soldered joint in door lock mechanism. I have just read a detailed repair procedure for this somewhere on the site or the American version - see if you can find it. If I get there 1st I'll post it!
