Buzzing vibration noise at 2400rpm

Hi,

I hope someone can give me an asnwer to this problem... its not affecting the cars performance but its an annoying problem and would put someone off buying the car when we want to sell it!!

Sometimes whilst I am driving I can hear a buzz, it just sounds like something vibrating on something else but I cant tell what! It sounds like its from the engine bit nearest the windscreen, or I did wonder if maybe its even the windscreen wipers vibrating on the window?!? (teach me to buy cheap tesco ones!)
It happens when I press the clutch to change gear and also if im cruising at 30mph at 2400rpm.

Like i said, it just sounds like something touching something else, but its very annoying and didnt know if anyone has had this and if so can shed any light?

I think i had this very simular sound today on my Golf GT 110 T plate , this only happend when i put my foot down and took the rpm to about 3500 then i felt abit i hesitation so i backed off then theres this strange deep buzzing sound from behind the dash at the top, i pulled up turned off the ignition, then started her up again now if seems to of dissapeared.

Every once in a while when ive done a journey of some sort i turn OFF the ignition then back ON i get this like a wind like a fart sound lol just wondered what it was, anyone had this before.
