Just got my first Audi Quattro 3.0 Sport Tip

Anyhow was wondering what the tyre wear was like front and rear ?

Do the tyres wear differently on the Quattro ?

I assume the fronts go sooner as per usual ?

I Own a Quattro, only a TDI though. not as powerful as yours.

I found it tends to scrub tyes a bit, mainly due to the fact that I enjoy cornering so much with quattro. I burned through a full set of Goodyear F1s in less than 10k. On Michelins now.

I found I had very uneven wear so took mine to the VW dealers for a four wheel alignment check. The new Michelins are wearing well this time.

I would get a fou wheel alignment done, try to find a good specialist as a main dealer will want big money for it. Will maximise handling and tyre life.

The tyres wear a lot more evenly than a fwd car, but there's still a minute bias towards front tyre wear as the front has more weight over it and deals with the cornering forces primarily. I had 4 new Michelin Premacy's on my 3.0 quattro sport since I bought her 22 months ago, have only done about 12k in her mind you & there's still plenty of tread all round. There an excellent tyre but costly!
'53 Smart Roadster Coupe - So much fun, so little cost to run!!

'03 Kawasaki ZX6R B1H - Currently off the road due to binning it on the M1!

'02 A4 3.0 Quattro Sport - Gone but missed daily!
