whilst hoovering the interior today I noticed the passenger footwell was very wet. A quick searach of the forum shows its probably a blocked drain hole but can anyone confirm how many drain holes there are? Drivers side footwell is dry.

Am I right in thinking there are just two drain holes, one under the battery and one under the brake fluid/servo?

Are there any holes near the pollen filter housing?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm not sure exacytly how many, but after living a long time with the sloshing of rain water following a rain storm or after washing the car, I simply removed the grommet from the drian hole under the battery and it drains quickly now.

I would only worry about the ones you mentioned.

I had issues with the plenum chamber flooding, there are two drain holes, one under the battery and one under the brake servo, the one under the battery is hard to get at without removing the battery, the one behind the servo can be cleared with a long extension bar from a socket set. I beleive i read a post from crasher about NOT removing the drain rubber grommets completely, they are designed not to allow fumes up into the plenum chamber and then into the cabin of the car!! just poke them through and leave them in place.
