Multitronic Life Expectancy

I would like to use this post to establish how long the multitronic gearbox can last before a fault occurs. Please nothing lengthy as I would like every multitronic driver to understand the life expectancy of this gearbox. We can then in another post look at ways of preventing failure. I will start:-

Car: Audi A6 2.5TDi
Year: 2002
Mileage: 115,000 miles
Faults: None
Costs : none

Expectancy: Depends how often the automatic transmission oil is changed. I reccommend between 30 and 40k. Most of the boxes tend to fail 50k onwards.

A4 avant 2.5 Tdi 53reg.
Mileage went problems started; 31,500 (when purchased - could have been sooner).
£200 diagnostics.
7-plate-clutch-conversion (£1500) 50% paid by Audi
Valve body (£1400) 90% paid by Audi.

Not purchased from Audi.
