    mk4 150 gttdi power cus off turbo at 2500 3000revs until i reset ignition any ideas

    Could be a number of different things.
    Air Flow Meter
    N75 valve
    Inlet manifold sensor
    ECU fault
    You will have to have it tested on the computer so the fault code is shown so the problem can be sorted,but these tests are not always 100% accurate.
    Tell me does it just lose boost driving normally or only when you boot it.
    The easist thing to do first would be to spray all the connections on the ECU Air Flow Meter etc with switch cleaner and see if that helps.VW's are always bad for dirty contacts on electrical connections.
    These faults can be a right pain to find.

    Hi there
    your turbo boost valve has failed. you need to confirm this by doing a vag test for faults. however the good thing is that this turbo boost valve is not to dear.

    Hi, I have a Passat TDI and the same thing is happening, VW have changed the Maff senor? and it worked ok for a week and now I have the same problem, loss of power no fault on computer, When i turn engine off all is restored for a while and is doing my head in, car is booked in again for this fault so will keep u updated if u like. Have also read loads of topics on same fault on TDI for VW & Audi and it seems to be a well known fault i'm sorry tosay.
