    Just in case there is anyone with an annoying rough idle/car cutting out when clutch is grounded - here is something that sorted it for me.

    Clean the throttle body as coking builds up (apparently a common issue with WAG engines)

    Runs nice and sweet now!!

    My mechanic mate told me this was a common issue with VW/Audi engines and so recommended the TB clean, which did the job nicely.

    Try these sites for info on a DIY job or better still have your mechanic sort it for you, should be well under an hours labour for anyone decent:
