    Hi Guys.

A friend tells me that you can re-program the TipTronic boxes on the 4motion Passats to run in sport mode.. the same effect as the button on a friends Audi A4?

Does anybody know how this can be done? The W8 4motion is a lovely engine but it does drop down the gears a little to early really.

    Regards,

    My Original Gearbox code: 01101

So I tried 01111 based on something I read somewhere, but to be honest I couldn't tell any difference so changed it back.

Additionally im told there is a 'hold the peddle in kickdown' before switching the ignition to stage 1 trick that turns it on just for the current drive cycle? Is this true or is somebody pulling my chain?

    Cheers,
