    Hi any ideas?

I have a 2000 1.8 cabriolet, I have had the rear disks and pads changed as garage was trying to improve my poor braking. Now 1000 miles on I noticed they are rusty over more than half the surface. I jacked it up and with a mate pushing the brake I can still -just- turn the wheel. My garage wants to try other pads, but I'm not convinced this is the issue. The calipers etc were stripped and are not leaking or seazed? Any ideas? this is the top of my must get fixed list!

    Hi,

Could be something to do with the brake proportioning valve (if it has one!)
This should put more bias to the rear as the car gets loaded up more. It would be connected to the rear suspension.
