Have just bought a 96 cabriolet can anyone tell me how to fit the hood cover when it is down. I can see two press fit studs, is this all that holds it in place? Also one of the female studs in the hood cover is broken anyone know where I can get a replacement?

Yes, just 2 press-studs. Tuck the front of the cover behind the seat back and the rear of the cover (which should feel as though it has a stiffening rod) under the black trim on the rear bodywork. Tuck the sides down as well. I would nip out and make sure, but it's pouring (again!) and in any case, the top won't move at present.

Can't help regarding the press-stud but one of mine doesn't work very well and is often not fastened, but no problems with the cover lifting so far....
