audi 80 1.9tdi estate handbrake

how do i adjust tha handbrake cable on tha 80 1.9tdi estate??? any help plzzzz

There should be a threaded rod adjuster under the car at the handbrake lever end. To reduce handbrake travel, take the nut up the rod a few turns.
Take care not to adjust it too much, if you do, one or both calipers may stop self adjusting. After you have made your adjustments, you should check that both actuator levers (on the calipers) are able to return to their stops - with the handbrake off.

If you need to adjust it there is a problem with the rear brakes.
