I hope somebody can help!!! I have a 95 Sharan with the central door locking not working. I found that the cubby hole under the front passenger seat was full of water & both the ECU & Relay were rotten. I have now sourced a replacement ECU & relay. I have also just replaced the front suspension top mounts & realised that the drainage channels were completely blocked with leaves & debris, so I have cleaned this out, blown the drainage tubes out with an airline & removed the inner wheel arch liners so that I could push a wire up the drainage tubes just to ensure I had cleared them properley. I also made sure that the pollen filter was securely fitted. The new ECU & Relay arrived today, so I have just gone to fit them & the cubby hole is full of water again!! Does any body know where else this water leaks in from? The car also has a sunroof - where do its drainage channels terminate? The carpet is bone dry, its just the cubby hole that is full of water.

    Thanks in anticipation - Simon

This sounds like the common Passat/A4 leaking gasket joint below the pollen filter, linked with the blocked drains below the battery?
