    Cheers for the help boys. I've got the axle stands and i'm gonna have a bash later.

    Belive me, i'll be testing that the car is up and 100% safe before I stick my head under it.

    Will try and get a few pics up aswell..

    this happened to me whilst racing a porsche obviously the porsche is much faster but the guy didnt have the bottle! any way i had my car fastest i have had it (140) and the engine tray came loose at the back and started flapping. as said earlier it is there for a reason so i am going to refit however two of the four fixing points qare damaged so i may just cable tie it. a couple of my friends have had this problem on a3s and golfs

    Sorted this out with some big self-tappers and some thread locker.
