a4 cab roof

hi all,posted this prob on my intro(newbie),oops.Got an a4 2.4se on an 02 plate.Tried to get roof back today,first sun of the year,but it wouldnt work.It went half way back then stopped once parcel shelf wuz fully up,could hear motor still buzzing but roof doing nowt? Had to put roof back down rather sheepishly,anyone else ever experience this prob?

just back from audi dealer,they said i need a diagnostic test on management system to recover fault codes.Suspect limit switches apparently.£90 for test plus cost of parts

Got roof sorted,carried out vagcom myself & come up with a fault code 01093-switch for top box lid.Found position of switch using elsawin,checked it out & found it to be dislodged

Hi,erm no mate dont know how it was dislodged cos its tucked away on the right inside the roof storage compartment. Only 1 screw holds it on tho,with a peg on it for location
